Our Mission

KIDZ Uplifting KIDZ is a not-for-profit organization partnering with our community and Clark County family services to provide financial support to facilitate experiences that create lasting memories, normalcy, and positive mental health to children in the Clark County foster care system.

Who We Are

From the hearts and minds of four KIDZ came the idea and desire to give the gift of fun knowing the value it provides during tough times. With the seeds that were planted, a board of Directors was formed and a non-profit was created with the KIDZ goals in mind. Together we have started a journey that helps create normalcy and fun for the Foster KIDZ of Clark County. According to NCSL (National Conference State Legislatures) “Up to 80 percent of children in foster care have significant mental health issues, compared to approximately 18-22 percent of the general population.” By donating to Kidz Uplifting Kidz you are helping to provide experiences and memories that are directly linked to improving mental health for the foster kidz of Clark County.

Get Involved

Supporting Kidz in foster care is a universal duty! Children in foster care deserve what all children deserve, to feel safe, to feel loved, to feel wanted. Foster youth should be afforded the same opportunities as their peers — learning to read, making friends, playing sports and graduating from high school. Through your support, KIDZ continues to give foster youth a sense of normalcy during an abnormal period of their life. Simply donate to support program development or for the event of your choice today!

“I want to be able to see kidz have fun and enjoy what they are doing even when life is hard. I know how important is to find the positive in a harsh situation and it is a lot easier when you have the right people around.” – Age 16
